Terms of service

These terms govern your use of this store and any purchase you make from it. By placing an order you agree to them. The store is operated by Metta Home & Technologies Inc.

Eligibility

You must be the age of majority in your province or territory to purchase from this store.

Products and descriptions

We work to keep product descriptions, images and specifications accurate, but this information is supplied by manufacturers and distributors and may contain errors or become outdated. Product images are representative; packaging and revisions can vary. If a product you receive materially differs from its description, contact us and we will make it right.

Pricing and availability

All prices are in Canadian dollars and exclude applicable taxes and shipping, which are calculated at checkout.

Prices and availability can change without notice. Despite our best efforts, a product may occasionally be listed at an incorrect price or shown as available when it is not. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order placed at an incorrect price, or for an item that is unavailable, even after an order confirmation has been sent. If this happens we will contact you and refund you in full.

Orders

Your order is an offer to buy. Our order confirmation email acknowledges receipt; the contract is formed when we ship the item. We may refuse or cancel any order, including where we suspect fraud, where quantities suggest resale, or where we cannot verify the billing or shipping details.

Payment

Payment is taken at checkout through our payment provider. You confirm you are authorized to use the payment method supplied.

Digital products

Software licences and download codes are licensed to you by the publisher under their own licence agreement, not sold. Because a code cannot be recalled once issued, digital purchases are final and non-refundable.

Shipping and risk

Title and risk of loss pass to you when the carrier delivers the item to the address you supplied. Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees.

Our refund policy forms part of these terms.

Warranties

Products carry the manufacturer's warranty. Beyond that warranty and your statutory rights, products are supplied "as is" and we make no other warranty, express or implied.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to a product or order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including under applicable consumer protection legislation.

Acceptable use

You may not use this store unlawfully, attempt to gain unauthorized access to it, scrape it by automated means, or interfere with its operation.

Intellectual property

Store content is owned by us or our suppliers and may not be reproduced without permission. Brand names, logos and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Nova Scotia and the federal laws of Canada. Disputes are subject to the courts of Nova Scotia, without limiting any right you have to bring a claim in your own province.

Changes

We may revise these terms. The version in force is the one published when you place your order.
